The plan only covers examinations, routine radiographs, and routine hygiene equivalent to the number of included hygiene appointments. Any additional hygiene support outside this allowance will incur a private fee. The 5% discount does not apply to cosmetic treatments, Airflow, or lab-based treatments.
The purpose of this policy is to provide insured individuals with dental services, as described below, during the period of cover for the treatment of dental conditions by a dentist.
We will cover emergency dental treatment up to a maximum of £500 per incident, with an annual limit of £2,000.
If an insured person requires dental treatment following an accident during the period of cover, we will pay for the cost of treatment up to a maximum annual limit of £12,000.
The insurance also includes hospital cash benefits, oral cancer cover, and protection for permanent facial disfigurement.
